Office Policies
Financial Policies:
Insurance
It is our office policy to accept payment, in full, at the time of the completion of services; we do not receive payments from your insurance providers. Deposits will be required for labwork. Your insurance company will reimburse you directly after they have processed your claims.
We accept Cash, Debit, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard and E-transfers
Our staff will gladly submit your insurance documents electronically, if possible, and will assist with any claim forms that are required. In order for you to better understand which reimbursements you will be eligible for, it is encouraged that you obtain a pre-authorization for the final treatment plan from your insurance provider; our staff will assist in this process as well.
We do not offer payment plans or financing.
Fee Schedule
General dental care provided by one of our general dentists will be completed at the BCDA Fee Guide.
Treatment provided by the dental specialists are above the BCDA Fee Guide.
Laboratory Costs
Complex prosthetic dental care often involves very complicated, personalized, and expensive laboratory costs. It is not our goal to profit from the work that the dental technicians are completing for us. We therefore transfer the laboratory costs of your treatment directly to you.
This does, however, complicate how we put together a cost estimate, because we do not know the exact laboratory costs until the work is completed. We will do our best to provide you with a fairly accurate cost estimate of your labwork before we proceed with treatment.
If you have any questions about the financial policies please feel free to contact us at 604-276-2525.
Dental Care for Children
We firmly believe that good oral health habits begin in childhood. It is a great compliment to our team if you wish to have your child's dental needs taken care of at the office.
Our team does provide general dental care for kids who are used to being at the dentist, but do not perform complex treatments. We refer to pediatric dental specialists for patients who need more advanced care, or who are too little for our grown up dental equipment.
The office is geared to adults, so we don't really have many toys or prizes to choose from. Their reward is healthy teeth. We do have free Wifi, so they can bring something to entertain themselves with.
In order to prevent injuries, children are not allowed in the working areas (unless they are the patient), while they wait for a family member. There is a comfortable lounge where kids can play with a tablet, or read a magazine, while they wait.
The whole family is invited!
Accessibility
Our office is fully accessible for people with wheelchairs, walkers or mobility scooters. We have a dedicated wheelchair accessible parking spot (FREE PARKING!) and our main entrance is on the ground floor with direct access to the parking lot.
All of our working areas are open and spacious with ample room to accommodate mobility scooters. We do not have any lifts in the office, but are able to provide dental care without moving our clients out of their mobility assistance devices.
We have a comfortable lounge area for family members and assistance staff to enjoy a coffee or tea in while they wait.
If you have any questions about the accessibility of our office, feel free to contact us at
604-276-2525.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of $100 dollars will apply to any appointment that is cancelled with less than 2 business days notice.
